I often have to upload very large files overnight via WeTransfer or FTPs but Windows keeps going to sleep and stopping / pausing the uploads. Is there a fashion I can tell Windows to stay awake when I'm uploading?

When I used Macs I was able to check something in the settings like, "Wake for network activity" and my Mac ever finished it's transfers. How exercise I do that on Windows?

I've gotten effectually this in the past by going to Settings > Power & Slumber > and turning Sleep to Never. Just I'd rather non accept to switch this on EVERY time I upload something. I want my computer to slumber after some time unless I'grand uploading.

Thanks!

The Slumber setting does say on Never unless I change it back simply, as I mentioned before, I want my computer to sleep after some time unless I'm uploading. I don't want my figurer constantly running and using power if I'm not using it.
Ah, I see. Endeavor this then to keep network activeness functional during sleep style since I don't think Win x has the option to keep itself from going to sleep during file transfer.

Windows does have a wake-on-LAN feature that boots it through cyberspace if it does fall to slumber

If none of these work, my concluding janky solution would be to just write a simple program to strength windows to press a key every specified interval until a certain amount of times you deem necessary for the files to go through.

You lot shouldn't have to go on changing information technology, it should remain at that setting subsequently doing it the first fourth dimension.
The Sleep setting does say on Never unless I change it back merely, as I mentioned before, I want my computer to slumber after some time unless I'thousand uploading. I don't want my estimator constantly running and using power if I'thousand not using it.

The Slumber setting does say on Never unless I alter it back but, every bit I mentioned earlier, I desire my computer to sleep after some fourth dimension unless I'g uploading. I don't want my computer constantly running and using power if I'm not using it.
Ah, I see. Try this and then to go on network activeness functional during slumber mode since I don't think Win 10 has the choice to go on itself from going to sleep during file transfer.

Windows does have a wake-on-LAN feature that boots information technology through internet if information technology does autumn to slumber

If none of these work, my terminal janky solution would exist to just write a simple program to force windows to press a cardinal every specified interval until a certain amount of times you lot deem necessary for the files to go through.
